It’s the Christmas gift country fans didn’t know they were waiting for. This holiday season, Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry — the founding voices of the legendary band Alabama — are reuniting for a nationwide celebration titled the “Merry Christmas Tour 2025.”

The tour promises a heartwarming blend of Alabama’s greatest hits and timeless Christmas classics, creating an evening that captures the warmth, nostalgia, and faith that have defined their music for more than five decades.

Launching in November 2025, the “Merry Christmas Tour” will travel across major cities and small towns alike, from Nashville and Atlanta to Dallas and Birmingham — bringing the unmistakable sound of Alabama home for the holidays. Each performance will feature full-band arrangements, special guests, and intimate storytelling moments that reflect the duo’s deep connection to faith, family, and the fans who’ve stood by them since the beginning.

“This tour is about more than Christmas,” Randy Owen said in a statement. “It’s about coming together — celebrating the songs that brought us here, and the people who’ve made this journey worth every mile.”

Teddy Gentry echoed that sentiment, adding, “We’ve sung about faith, family, and home our whole lives. This time, we’re bringing all of that into the Christmas season — and we can’t wait to share it.”

Fans can expect Alabama favorites like “Love in the First Degree,” “Mountain Music,” and “Angels Among Us” alongside holiday staples such as “Christmas in Dixie,” “Silent Night,” and “O Holy Night.” Each show will close with a special tribute to the late Jeff Cook, the band’s beloved co-founder, whose spirit continues to inspire their performances.

Early ticket demand has already been described as “overwhelming,” with presales opening later this month through the band’s official website.

For country music lovers, this tour isn’t just a concert — it’s a homecoming. A chance to relive the songs that shaped generations, wrapped in the glow of Christmas lights and southern warmth.

Because when Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry take the stage together again, it’s not just music —
it’s Alabama, coming home for the holidays.
